A
Dhaka court today sent Oishee Rahman to jail after rejecting her bail
petition in connection with the killing of her parents -- Special Branch
of Police inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and Swapna Rahman. While passing
the order, Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Nur directed the jail
authorities to take an initiative for supplying textbooks to Oishee as
she will appear in the O-level examinations scheduled to be held in May
as per the jail code.
